His work -printed, pictorial and sculptural- represents generally anthropomorphic male figures with Negroid features; and goes from abstract to figurative expressionism and represents the imaginary and religiosity of Santeria -a fundamental aspect of Cuban culture and tradition. His pieces stand out for the variety of textures, colors sobriety, synthesis of compositional elements and the representation of religious icons Yorubas.
